The black and white photos below are a seelction of the collection of photographs and Rossendale Free Press Archive newspapers was acquired by the late Mr Peter Fisher over many years. More than 30,000 photographs have been scanned and uploaded online by Mr Keith Knowles, who has kindly given permission for a selection to be reproduced here. The building in the photo stood at the corner of Millgate Road and Daisy Hill just off Bank Street. It has since been removed but you can still see the garden area where it once stood.
